Wairarapa Rape & Sexual Abuse Collective Inc is based in Masterton with our services covering the whole of the Wairarapa. We are a non-profit, community organisation run by a Collective of dedicated paid staff and volunteers.
We are specialists in sexual violence services and support people who have been directly or indirectly affected by rape or sexual abuse. We also provide sexual violence prevention education to school students and the community within the Wairarapa. Our Collective consists of many committed and valued volunteers who are here to support you in any way you require.
Referrals can be made to many organisations.

We take a trauma-informed approach to all of our services, ensuring that survivors feel safe, supported, and empowered to make decisions about their healing journey. Our staff are trained to understand the complexities of trauma and offer compassionate, sensitive support.

At Wairarapa Rape & Sexual Abuse Collective, our mission is to provide compassionate, confidential support to survivors of sexual violence across the Wairarapa region. We are dedicated to empowering individuals and their whānau, fostering healing, and promoting prevention through education and awareness. Our commitment is to create a safe and supportive community where every survivor is believed, respected, and given the resources they need to rebuild their lives.
We offer a wide range of services tailored to the needs of survivors and their whānau. From 24/7 crisis support to prevention education in schools, our services are designed to empower survivors and the community to take action against sexual violence.

Our History
Founded over two decades ago, Wairarapa Rape & Sexual Abuse Collective was established to address the lack of specialised sexual violence services in the Wairarapa region. Since then, we have grown to become a trusted pillar of support for survivors, offering a range of services and educational programs to help prevent sexual violence
